If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

We're in the 90's aren't we?

I'd rather have humidity than weeks and weeks on end of 35c+

Haven't played cricket the past 2 weeks due to heat, and now training will be 'washed out'. Frustrating, although good to see some rain around, especially for the fire up north.

I couldnt tell by the radar if the rain reached that far up. Excellent if it did.

Cfs media release says they didn't get much rain but any more may actually hinder their efforts as it will make the roads boggy.

They have listed the fire as contained now though, which is great news

They've seen this rain coming for days - any decent groundsman would've had the covers on last night.

I heard you cant even get up to the Hollow at the moment. Massive accident blocking North East Rd, Houghton.

Maybe check SES or CFS for updates.

We're in Pt Broughton currently and there's been showers on and off all day. Drove to Kadina for lunch and looks like they'd had a good soak there.

It'll be great news when it's fully out, this fire had been listed as "contained" for a number of days earlier and look what happened in the past week or so

I just trudged through the rice paddy that was a dry lawn 24 hours ago to check my rain gauge, 62.5mm, very nice soaking, that's more rain in 24 hours than we had up to the end of April last year
