$5 schnitzels at the Junction Tavern...

don't you have to pay extra for the vegie bar?

Dunno haven't indulged. I'd rather have a mexicana schnitzel from the Rosewater FC for $12

I know some people who go to the Junction with monotonous regularity for the $5 schnitty, I know some who wouldn't go near it. I myself am wary of a $5 schnitzel from a place on Grand Junction Road.

It's more money to spend on beer I suppose.

I remember back in the day (circa 2000) Players Bar on Grenfell St use to do $5 shnittys on Fridays. This is when you could get a pint of beer under $5 as well....

went to the chuck wagon in north Adelaide on Friday

awww mahhh gawweerrddddd

this place is **** mental.

got the ulled port fries (no coleslaw) **** 9.9/10
and the Texan burger (no onion).... they forgot to no onion bit
but once I removed it it was a 9/10

highly recommend it guys.

colonnades tavern - voucher from Ent. Book

ordered mixed grill - had no choice about how the steak was cooked, was well done, tough, SH1T - cheap meat

mrs had an ok meal with spare ribs on a marinated steak - and yet they also served up a bowl of gravy....

apparently that meal was ok, but for the price, id be giving it a miss....the prices were on par with Coopers Alehouse and yet the food was very ordinary

Victory Hotel at Sellicks

Food is ok, nothing to rave about

the service is a mixed bag of lollies, just all over the shop. quite poor really

Woodville hotel.

Recently changed menu means the slow service and dodgy printer (my work credit card needs the receipt) in the front bar (6 months and counting) are no longer with the bother.

Tea tree Gully hotel.

Too expensive for what it is. It's a nice pub meal, priced at the top end.

Had dinner at Holdfast Hotel last night. Chicken Schnitzel with creamy garlic prawns. $24 each. Had an ent. Book voucher and the young dopey lad charged me $21 for both of us.

Nothing short of sensational. One of the better schnitzels, sauces and beer battered chips I have ever had and I have a fair penchant for schnitzels. 9/10

Modbury Hotel - ordinary food at reasonably mid to high prices IMO.

Clovercrest Hotel - food is better than the Modbury. Prices are ok.

Near holiday house;

Weeroona Hotel - Wallaroo - good food, good prices

The Prince Edward - Wallaroo - better food, good prices

The Wallaroo - Wallaroo - really good food, good prices

The Anglers Inn - Wallaroo - ordinary food, reasonable prices
