Yep, I have tickets for tonight and I'm not feeling too good about the chances of a game.
Here is an interesting stat for you.
The BBL to date has averaged 931,000 viewers a game!!!!
Apparently the average AFL ratings in 2014 was only 811,000
Now I think those ratings are skewed a bit because the afl ratings would have included Foxtel only games and the FTA ratings would be much higher, but it shows how big the game has gotten.
25 games v's nearly 200 games. Very misleading stat.
Weekend day games when family's do there shit on weekends v's a game during the week at a nice timeslot up against some bullshit cooking show, Neighbors or some other crap like that.
Like I said I don't believe the stat that it rates or even has more interest than the AFL, but more the fact that it is even in the same conversation is pretty amazing to me

Very heavy showers forecast between 6pm and midnight in the metro area, going on the forecast earlier in the week for the same we can be reasonably certain it wont rain in the metro area

The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

just checked the bom, it looks like this next patch coming over the peninsula is the last that will cross adelaide. Worse Case i reckon would be a late start, but it has been moving very quickley across the state with no real downpour to mention. should hopefully pass over by 7.

Supposedly the match is expected to start on time at 7:10pm.

Hi all, welcome to tonight's live coverage of the big BBL clash between the Strikers and the Thunder. Rain around Adelaide at the moment and the covers are on, but we're expected to start on time.
