Not as simple as that, they have to flog the thunder and hope that the stars flog the scorchers.

Dont know why but its got something to do with the Sydney Sixes hosting a final.
I think if Sydney claim a top 2 spot then Adelaide will play Sunday otherwise its Saturday night.
Or its the other way round, cant recall
If Sixers finish 2nd they will host on Saturday night as there is an ODI at the SCG on Monday

Anyone else notice White change his line of running between the wicket whilst Klinger stood under the awaiting catch that got him out. Deadset wanker. Thank God he played minimal games for the country.

Would think it will be at 6:40 so its live into the Eastern states for 7.10
Will make it hard for many club cricketers to attend if so

Amazing win by the Stars, Handscomb unbeaten 100 got the job done after they were in allsorts. Didnt think Perth made enough, batted too slow. Sets up a replay on Sunday, Strikers to play the Sixers on Saturday night

Have they said what the Sixers need to do to host the final? Looking at the ladder, if the Stars had to win in under 16 overs than the Sixers must have to win in under 14 or so i reckon?

Calculations by Channel 10 stats man Lawrie Colliver indicated the Sixers would need to beat the Thunder by 115 runs or make the Thunder total inside 6.5 overs to take second spot and a home final.

Apparently SACA have asked clubs if they want to start 1 hour early this week so they have additional time to get to the game if they want

7.30 on a Saturday night would surely be good for spectators, TV and all involved
