All very quiet around here at the moment...any big inclusions for any sides? or substantial losses?

I heard Hanson, Flynn and Thach all no longer at Hamley Bridge and all back at Para Hills.
But after asking around, I have confirmation that Hanson has signed at PH, Thach is not back but not sure if Flynn has signed anywhere.
Flynn signed at Hamley Bridge.

A myth of football - that clubs poach other clubs players.
Is it that clubs don't do enough to hold their players?

But I will bite.Dogwatcher wrote:A myth of football - that clubs poach other clubs players.

Poach - Verb - take or acquire in an unfair or clandestine way. Synonyms: steal, appropriate, purloin, misappropriate, take.
Technically, simply taking a player from a club could be considered "poaching" but to use the original intent - CLG have poached (allegedly, don't get your knickers in a knot scottroo) one or two of our players with the lure of money - over and above what they would be worth in an open market, that constitutes "taking in an unfair or clandestine way" in my opinion. Especially since its CLG

If they offered them more than you think they're worth, surely that means you decided not to meet those demands. Which means you made the decision to let them go. Ergo, not poached.

Isn't all the above just another word for recruiting?
