I'm not sure you know what "choked" means.

Im not the only one
Perhaps a ;) instead of "choked" next time to save confusion

Just a world of difference between Zim and SA. SA could lose their guns cheaply and keep going. Once Zim lost their classier guys the bext were just out of their depth. Great effort by Zim to give themselves a chance of keeping SA to a low score and then again to stay in the run chase as long as they did.

Windies are a disgrace
5/100 against Ireland, Bravo run out not facing a ball.
Absolute rabble, sad to see.
Dockerell bowling well, looks a likely sort, Poms will draft him in within a year

Don't think so, Ireland wants a first class system to keep their stars.

The Irish public are vaguely aware that they are ok at cricket but this is only around Dublin.

Mark Nicholas is an ass clown.

I watched highlights of Pontings 140* last night with 8 x 6s in it that led Australia to 359 and almost certain victory. My favourite one day innings of all time. Not only for the batting though.

On this night in 2003 I had a $50 bet that I had previously placed for Punter to be highest scorer of the WC at $9s from memory. I lived in a house with 4 mates, one of whom had a real penchant for prostitutes. As Punter strode out to bat I said to my mate if this bet wins I will get you a girl for the innings break explaining RP was 13O something runs behind someone who wasn't playing. We all love cricket and dislike India but with what we had riding on it you could imagine the fever pitch the house became as Ricky went bunta.

On 130 with two balls remaining it was tense. When the penultimate ball went about 100m there was singing, dancing and genuine tears of joy. What an innings, what a moment, what a bet. What a bloke offering a mate this kind of reward for doing little more than cheering.

Our new friend would join us in the wee hours post victory and not in the innings break and whilst the moment of victory had a hint of euphoria and is a story I will tell my grand kids it's fair to say she was not the agencies best work and this was not money well spent.

Ricky Ponting 140 not out in the 2003 World Cup Final will always be my favourite innings :)

Can only go on what I saw this morning, could only watch the first 25 overs but they were a rabble early on. A few of their batters looked like they didnt want to be out there and their body language was terrible. Good to see a couple of blokes knuckle down and have a go

I hope they are fair and consistent with these new rules

Really shits me how we can have these different rules, weak as piss. I assume we will let them smoke in the ground as well, it's their culture :?

What was the crowd for Adelaide Oval yesterday?

Just over 41,000. Apparently a flight from India was delayed due to not enough airline staff on duty at the scheduled take-off time. Was due to land in Sydney at 7am Saturday morning. A lot of disgruntled passengers and reports of fights in the terminal

:D This makes me happy.

So 12,00 less than the Strikers then ;)

I cant wait until the next time the Redbacks play at AO. I'm heading there with drums, guitars, sheeshka bong and megaphone.

Heat at start of the match the other factor.

No excuses really as it started to cool down an hour or so later
