apparently another appeal will be heard on the 12th of may. However they still may get executed tonight. Which means if this appeal does find corruption was done in the trial (which it was) it's just bad luck... Joke of a system... Them parading the coffins and crosses yesterday was a disgrace. I don't condone these two actions, but the way this has been handled is a appalling.

That's why we're the lucky country mate.
I may live a sheltered life as I refuse to watch the news and miss all of that type of sh!t, I'm glad that I do though.
All these celebrities bagging the PM for not doing enough & saying grow some balls, that's just as big a joke as this whole debacle. What, do they want us to declare war. While I am totally against the death penalty for these 2, its not Australias decision.
So they did the wrong thing. Big deal. They are not murderers or pedaphiles. They have tried to right their wrong, grow from it and use art as their healing. They deserve forgiveness. The Bali government and the people who pull the trigger today are the criminals. So barbaric and horrific
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

It is, it's also enough of a deterrent to avoid the risk.

Thats their rules though. Everyone knows their system is corrupt, who are we to tell them what to do. Everyone has a choice on going there or not if you dont want to obey their rules dont go, pretty simple

Obviously not much of a deterrent if they are still having to execute people.

It's enough for me to not traffic drugs in or out of there.

I doubt you'd do it even if the death penalty didn't exist.
He always spoke so highly of the boys, inparticular Myu's artwork and the contribution that it brough in providing solace for other rehabilitated inmates.
Joko Widodo tonight you will kill two good men, my friends. I want you to know that you may take their freedom and their lives, you may rob their fellow inmates of the support and love that both men have offered for so long, you can turn off Myu’s imagination but you will never kill the memory of them. I have promised Myu and Andrew, their parents and their siblings, that I will fight against the death penalty for the rest of my life. I can also assure you that Myu and Andrew will care for the other inmates you will execute tonight. The six men and one young woman from the Philippines, Ghana, Brazil and Nigeria will have two constant, calming and compassionate voices beside them right until the last second. Myuran will continue to translate your executioner’s words into English for Mary Jane Veloso and Andrew will calm and console. I know that before the sound of your guns the island will hear the comforting whisper of Myuran Sukumaran and Andrew Chan.
