From my time playing school footy I'm very skeptical of the records colleges would keep as to who has played 25 games (i'm certain it wouldn't be to the same level as the Junior Football).

Would be an interesting exercise in throwing the cat amongst the pigeons to require a College to establish that a player had played those 25 games.

What would be another interesting tweak would be that a player can only be zero points to one club in the sense that whichever of its junior club or college it played more games for, it would be a zero pointer.

Looking forward to a great year and playing at some new ovals. Think i'll tick off:

Eastern ParkHope Valley
Edwardstown
North Haven
Pooraka
Westminster
Salisbury

How Exciting!

Dont know if i would use exciting to describe playing at Eastern Park. Entertaining maybe.

Can't be much worse than some of the games I played at Central United a few years back. Quickest shower I've ever had.

Westminster slowly assembling a team that would have been mildly competitive in the SANFL if the year was 2007

Westminster v Edwardstown GF? May as well put it in your diaries now ;)

Just have a look at the side Westminster is putting together for this year. I believe a lot of these players are zero pointers because they attended Westminster college. The league will soon have to act upon this rule and get rid of the points or the salary cap. Personally i would favour the points being removed then clubs hopefully would avoid financial stress. You just have to look at the teams that have had the most success since these rules have been put in place, the majority of them are college teams. I understand what the league is trying to do here but i think they have gone too far in this instance.

They have to have done more than attend Westminster college, they have to have played 20 games for the college. Points or no points, I don't reckon they would be playing at WOS for the love of the school....

Most schools do not keep good records, it generally is not questioned.

I think you'll find that private schools keep fairly meticulous records.

I'd wager most wouldn't stand up to any scrutiny whatsoever.

All a moot point in any event.

Fair enough, I guess he's a zero pointer so doesn't matter, was just wondering why his clearance didn't say from the NEAFL, no biggy, be interesting to see how he goes

Yeah true that, still got a month to get it all right. No C grade comps this change after it was put up the first time. Clashes everywhere no wonder it was changed/taken down. Don't mind this change as our first game is at home!
