Haven't listened to a crows game on AA in a while, but I do remember them making comments about how they tone it down a bit on the occasions that they do go interstate

I think the blatantly biased calls work on radio as they go into a smaller market.

The 5aa calls are fine imo. Obviously biased towards the crows and power but don't pretend not to be.

On TV it's a different matter because it's national coverage

They're part of syndicated coverage. I was listening to the AA call in Mildura earlier this year.

Pretty sure 3AW would have taken the AA call yesterday, wouldn't they?

It's rare though. When I lived in Perth they always took either 6pr coverage (Obviously) or 3aw in each game I heard.

3AW did the Bulldogs v West Coast game. They very rarely take a FIVEaa game. In fact I can't remember having to set anything up for them to take a game in the last couple of years. 6PR sometimes take the showdowns and this weekend FIVEaa are taking a game from 6PR.

I was definitely listening to a Port game on the radio. It was Easter weekend and Rowey and Bicks were blaring out of the speakers. I remember it because the game must have gone slightly over time, as the call was cut at the Mildura end before the match had been finished.

I feel sorry for anyone who cops Dermie as a commentator but if your team is playing GWS it's bloody shocking. Dermie never fails to sink the boot into the Cats but he was blowing the AFL Giants all night long at Cat Park. Absolutely excruciating. And now we have Sewell and Hodge in the future to look forward too. Great. More Hawthorn knobs in the media. Can't wait.

And I know I wasn't picking up Adelaide radio, as there was an ad for the Workingman's Club kicked in.

Some start off pretty good, but then get a too smart for their own good and start getting graphs and shit out.
