How TF did they miss THAT TREE and run into it?

What does the alpaca do to the woman's jumper to horrify them so much?

Thinking about it too much, yeah, probably, but I'm a thinking man.

And it doesn't even make sense - Alpaca are no risk - except they may spit in your eye.
I've stepped in between two males who were fighting and all that happened is they tried to reach around me to bite each other.

Generally if a female doesn't want to mate she spits at the male and he backs off - the term in the trade is a "spitoff.
It is usually a sign the female is already pregnant.

If someone had said to me "Do you know anyone that would know the gestation period of an alpaca?" there would have been only one person who would have come to mind.

I have an advantage - I used to breed them in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

It started as a tax strategy in the late 1980s when, under Paul Keating, the ATO started rejecting tax deductions from farming activities on the grounds the farms were too small and would never make money, and therefore were a "hobby". My accountant advised me to get into something exotic they couldn't say that about. So Alpacas, plus transplanting Texan embryos into my existing Angora Goat stock emerged.

(Later PK banned deductions of farming losses against other income entirely, and I started a computer dealership from my home workshop on the farm - you just have to stay a step ahead of them in the game!) 8)

the lack of synchronized traffic lights in this fair city, the State Government are going to make it harder for road builders in relation to work signage etc, the dumbass pollies cant see the REAL problem.

this state has the worst roads and traffic control system in the country, me finishing work at 330am driving through Vicky Square sat at a set of lights there for 4 minutes, i was the only car around stuff it i said drove through red light, no cameras going back to the bush at first opportunity.

Feel much better i got that off my chest.

I reckon our traffic lights synchronization is quite good. I can usually get from the tollgate to gepps x only having to stop once or twice in the truck. Sometimes I can get a non stop run (non peak hour obviously).
You should try Melbourne, as soon as you're off a freeway you'll get stopped at just about every intersection, even on their freeways can be a nightmare at times. Once it took me 3 hours to get from Dandenong to the start of the Western freeway (about 50kms), that really stuffed my log book times.

They've recently (last year or so) stopped giving the "no arrow" when turning right after a certain time of night so you have to sit there like an idiot with a red arrow even though there is not a car in sight. My missus rang the council about this and apparently it is an initiative they are trying to reduce accidents. Bullshit IMO.

Try driving down Hutt Street now, you will have to stop at every set of lights no matter if anyone is on a side street.

Conversely, I have found Frome Rd to be an excellent conduit between the north and south of the city. The dedicated bike lanes work a treat; the idiot cyclists don't get in your way (given that you're travelling north-south and not turning off across the bike lanes). Lights are only a pain up the northern end where you can get stuck behind someone turning right. Being familiar with the road I stick to the left lanes at these intersections. Thumbs up to Frome Rd from me.
