Onya HT, knew you'd win - and I think you'll win again this weekend as well...

To be perfectly honest - and I expressed my thoughts prior to finals to several people - Trinity were my biggest worry heading in - you were the one side I didn't want to play. You've scraped in after having an unsettled side all season but come finals and full strength your squad is as good as any - no surprise you won the flag last season.

I always felt that the side who won our elimination final would easily account for Brahma Lodge who I expected would lose to West Croydon, and have a red hot chance at beating the Hawks who I expected to lose the Woody South.

Might sound a little arrogant given we finished 4th and 5th respectively, but I don't rate Brahma Lodge B grade in the slightest, and West Croydon have been up for a long time, and whilst dangerous rely on a number of players - don't think they have the leg speed of Woody South, TOS or Ingle Farm.

Cats are still the side to beat though.

Hooker to return this week as well? Would be a very handy inclusion into the B grade..

Not convinced about Brahma beating the cats, If Trinity go in with pace in the Bgrade they are a huge show. One of he Cats wingman on Saturday would have had 35 touches easily and their ball use is very good for reserves footy.

I have to admit, when I watched the BL A Grade warm up, I wondered how on earth they were one of the better teams in the comp. Looked like an over 35s fat camp C grade.

Seems like a case of look like Rosie O'Donnell play like Tarzan.

Brahma's top end is as good as anyone's, if not the best in the comp.. Woody South are far more even and bat deeper.. But as shown a few weeks ago if BL's guns fire, they can knock them off.. Will be a very good game

Not sure how factual but word on the street is that West Croydon in big trouble for red cards in c grade game today may get relegated? Apparently a rule of 5 club Red cards for the year??

Yes, there were reports and that's all we're going to say about that until Wednesday.

Given that the report wouldn't have even hit HQ yet, Anything else is purely speculation.

Speculation complete FC. It's now Thursday, facts are in and West Croydon are clearly in a bit of bother. Now is the time to comment. Minimum 6 reds and what next. I actually love their club for what they represent but should they be treated better than others. Sad, but a fact.
