So this business about picking in form players from the Shield like Hanscomb and Renshaw seems to go ok. Who would have thought?

On Renshaw, still has plenty of work to do and is only 20 of course, but I like what I have seen so far. Yes he has clear issues on a line just on or outside off with a bit of movement. Certainty not alone there in the world of cricket, but at 20 he has the time to work on that. I like his approach to batting and opening. Has a good mindset to be out there for a while. I think with time we will really see this kid develop nicely.

Yep can't agree with you more. Start down after dinner once a few things were down and get to see a solid 25 overs.

Also I like the pink ball at night. Batting at night is clearly difficult even on flat decks - Great it adds something more to the game. Captains will try to take advantage of this and good on them. It just adds to the game.

Totally agree. Saying that and seeing it work would put Sayers right up there for a crack. Based on the opportunity CA has given to Renshaw and Hanscomb. Sayers would have to be the in form bowler beyond test level I would certainly think eh?

Yep and as one who got frustrated at Adelaide due 15 scoring shots in 137 balls yesterday he showed what Chappelli was banging on about as he turned the strike over (17 x 1s) and had double the scoring shots for almost 20 less balls faced. Easiest spot to bat from is the other end!

I see alot of Matthew Elliott in him with the way he plays his shots and technique wise. Sort of looks like Matthew Hayden stance wise too.
