Re: Australian International Summer
I agree with Cook, Root, Bairstow, Stokes, Ashwin, Herath and Starc being in the team. Kohli ahead of Voges. I really like Williamson but there's guys ahead of him with more runs so he probably shouldn't be in starting eleven, Smudge ahead of him for mine. IMO Warner shouldn't be in there, averaging 35.52 for the year he hasn't had a great year with only the one century and two fifties. Azhar Ali is the best performing opening batsman apart from Cook with 950 runs @52.77 in 10 tests. Don't understand why Steyn is in the team, he played three test matches in 2016, I'd have Broad in for him.

The period that team is chosen on isn't a 2016 calender year. It was quoted Voges averages 80+ in the time frame & Kohli in the 40's
Kohli's series against Eng just gone comes into next year ICC team of year selection.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

The team was from September to September. So that's why warner and Voges made it

Plenty of rain forecast in Melbourne for the duration of the Test, believe showers heading in mid afternoon today

Took the draw at $5.60 a couple of days ago.
Hazelwood has it on a string at the moment. Bowled some absolute gems already

This is the sort of batting Babar showed against the Kiwis. The kid can seriously bat.

Some good bowling from Hazelwood and Bird and some very slow batting from Ali got Australia right on top
Pakistan 4/125 after 48 overs
