North Adelaide/Medindie Football Clubs History Bus Tour

Post by Leaping Lindner »

Hey all. Coming up on May 21st I will be conducting a bus tour, in conjunction with the North Adelaide History Committee, which will take in some of the important places in the early history of the Medindie and North Adelaide football club.
Places are filling up so if this interests you please book soon. At this stage it will be a one off this year as doing more closely together are a little difficult with me living 500 miles away. ;)
I hope as many of you as possible can join us.
I can guarantee an informative and interesting tour!!

Date and Times
Sunday 21 May departing Prospect Oval at 9:30am and returning at about 11am where morning tea will be served
Sunday 21 May departing Prospect Oval at 2pm and returning at about 3:30pm where afternoon tea will be served
Cost
$25 per head (NAFC members), $30 non-members - includes bus tour, expert commentary, souvenir booklet, morning or afternoon tea and opportunity to interrogate the experts.
Bookings
Ring the North Adelaide Football Club on 8344 8733 and specify numbers and tour preference. Payment will need to be made at the time of booking.

This is a crackerjack initiative by the club.

I'd love to come along, but unfortunately I'm going to be overseas. Hope all Roosters fans (and history buffs, for that matter) get behind it.

Thanks Magellan. Hopefully it will be back next year, if the interest is there, and you can join us then.

Oh the irony of the significance of the Temperance Hall in Tynte St and the NAFC Grog Squad....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
