After all this chat I guess I better make an effort to grab a beer at Houghton this week!
Haha, went into Houghton after the game last year and my assistant coach, captain and I were the only ones in there, except for the guy serving behind the bar......was the night they were doing the massive bonfire though.
Nice to go in and share the battle with the opposition but each to their own I reckon. Must say Elizabeth guys were very respectful and humble after the game on Saturday. They are on the right track and will have a big say in what eventuates in the next 5 weeks

I don't really care that much tbh, just read about no BLFC heading into Fitzroy after the game a few weeks back and thought I would mention no one from Pulteney came into the club after the cracking game that was played..
For sure you should, they definitely look after you up there mate!
You are more than welcome Sat Zartan for a beer and see if you can beat Cossi and the Big angry ruckmans effort from a couple of weeks ago.
Speaking of The Big Angry Ruckman, if he decides to give up footy he could make a living as a quiz master after Sat nights effort!
Was good to see him relaxed and not angry.
Big - No, Fat - Yes Angry - LOL as angry as Curly gets from the three stooges Ruckman - is probably the smallest and worst ruckman ever

I'll throw in that I like looking at their boards and photo's too so I can see who used to play for them.
I did this Saturday at Smithfield, went into the clubrooms for the first time and had a look at all the photos and memorabilia. I looked for your mug and found it in the cricket photos.

Ha, a pretty old one, looked like I'd been swimming.

Bit harsh on the Fat part. I am just getting myself ready for the Zombie Apocalypse. I will out last most. I don't often get angry but if you want to keep punching me in the head then I might let yo know of my displeasure. I will agree with the last part.
As for the Quiz part, need to keep my options open for life after football. We have our annual mouse cup this weekend and will be hoping to transfer my quiz mastery in to race commentary this weekend.
Check out the Brahma Lodge Football Club website at www.blfc.com.au
what's everyone thoughts on how the ladder will look after this weekend?
Pulteney will remain top no matter if they lose to Trinity Percentage is out of reach.
Elizabeth will stay 2nd and can only move to 3rd if they lose to Brahma Lodge by a fair margin.
Brahma Lodge has the most at stake this weekend as they could potentially go 2nd or slip all the way down to 5th position. That would involve Trinity beating Pulteney, Ingle Farm winning big against Houghton and BL of course losing to the eagles.
Trinity could go as high as 3rd with a win over Pulteney & BL losing or as low as 5th.
Ingle Farm can move to 3rd position if BL & Trinity lose and they would need to pick up 3%.

Need a lot to go right to grab that 3rd spot.. bit of a hail mary - and the 3% wont be easy to make up, it's the best part of a 30 goal win.
Farmers will need to weigh up whats more important - going hell for leather in the hope of snagging a double chance, or working hard enough to get the victory and then managing players and accepting the realisation that they'll need to go the long way over finals.

Rowe Park 14:15 - Ingle Farm (4th) v Trinity OS (5th) 12:15 - Brahma Lodge (4th) v Trinity OS (5th)
Argana Park 14:15 - Elizabeth (2nd) v Brahma Lodge (3rd) 12:15 - Elizabeth (2nd) v Ingle Farm (3rd) 10:15 - Elizabeth (2nd) v Old Ignatians (3rd)
Trinity the biggest beneficiary aside from Elizabeth who earned their home finals - Brahma Lodge and Ingle Farm could be split.
Trinity beneficiaries pffft why cause your B grade are away? Pffft turn it up mate. it's all about the A grade and where and what your A grade do. Get your self an A grade gig your be far better for it.

For what it's worth I reckon you'd go alright.
I'd say its a fair chance that both ladders for div 6 could end up looking exactly the same after this weekend. Elizabeth beat Brahma and Ingle Farm do a number on Houghton and Pulteney get the points against TOS then both ladders should be identical. This surely is very rare.

Haha.. beneficiaries from a club perspective - don't have the inconvenience of stretching support staff especially trainers over two venues or having support staff have to run from one ground to the next.
It's obviously also better to have your whole club in one place supporting the A grade.
From a B grade point of view it makes no difference to me/us - it's all about A grade success and ensuring they get proper preparation and support.. I'll gladly go out in straight sets if I know it means the A grade progress.
p.s - no media ban, just been a very hectic week

Not the first coach in this situation and certainly won't be the last.
