Depends also if you have an official umpire - technically by the letter of the law, umpires decisions overall all, so if they call a 5 ball over or a 7 ball over you just have to deal with it.

Generally the scorers will yell out though, and umpires will listen.

Not up to the scorers to yell out. Not their role.

No more than it is for the scorers (or anyone else) to yell out that they heard an inside edge after an lbw was given out.

Umpires umpire. Sure, they make mistakes (plenty) but just add 5 ball or 7 ball overs to the list of errors they make.

I always used to yell out, well it depended on who was bowling.

Was the Batting captain.
Was a proper umpire, im sure nothing wouldve been said if they got 4 runs instead of glancing it to me at short leg!
Scorer had ample time to call out to umpire, he didnt, too bad.

Yep, of course he'd dispute it, depending on the club he probably whinged about it all night too.

Lost 13.4 due to a breach with 'dual registration"?

Hmm, tough initiation.

Would have to be Tyler Grainger-Balding surely? Registered with Ingle Farm in ATCA still, but played Rd 1 with NEK?

NEK still waiting on clarification on the breach.

* Dual registration can only be obtained and registered by using the appropriate form supplied by the Association and/or entering the appropriate data into the approved data base. A completed Dual Registration Form will show the player’s primary club/association (where the player was first registered) and the secondary club/association (with whom the player now wants to play for). The Association is the only body in the PDCA to enter dual registrations into MyCricket.

* Dual registrations must be lodged with the Association Secretary or his/her nominated proxy prior to the player participating in any match.

* Dual registrations can be between PDCA and other community associations if the club is a member of both associations:
(a) dual registration must be obtained from both associations.
(b) a permit must be obtained before every match the player plays in the PDCA if he
normally plays with the other association.

Tyler played 4x B2, 1x C3 and 10x U15 games at IFDCC last year - zero at NEK, therefore IFDCC would be his primary club, and a permit to play at NEK required, particularly since no clearance had gone through.

Maybe he's not - just a guess looking over that side. Can only be one of two people..

Josh Wilhelm - cleared to NEK 4th October
Cam Smith - Regular NEK player
Lee Mills - Regular NEK player
Pete Atkins - Regular NEK player
Brian Domeika - Regular
Jeff Domeika - Regular
Luke Levi - Regular
Cam Breeze - Regular
Steve Prisk - Regular
Justin Ellul - Regular

Andrew Balding - Possibly him since he was IFDCC coach last year, and played all season in B2.
Tyler Grainger-Balding - Possibly him since he played regular cricket at IFDCC last year.

Perhaps it's because of both Balding's?

Taking all 10 wickets in the 1st innings between them, 13 for the match and 95 runs between them, fair to say it's a pretty significant contribution.

Tyler along with Aaron Holloway were transferred from Ingle Farm to NEK in C&CCA in 2015 to fill in on Saturdays as a dual registration while playing Jnrs on Sundays.

Ingle Farm were then, and still remain, their primary club, and no additional permit for dual rego has ever been sought.

Given that they played senior cricket last year with Ingle Farm, i'd imagine a clearance would've been required Rd 1 to play for NEK, unless permit was sought.

So my answer is - they're both in the wrong.

I guess so.. you're asking the wrong person

The permit would need to be approved by IFDCC, ATCA and PDCA though - you're probably better off just clearing them back to NEK.

Have a read over the policy:
