Who uses cash these days?

I always carry cash, always. I find flashing a card makes it far too easy for me to spend my money.

I'm the opposite, money doesn't last with me plus when the kids ask for something I can say "I have no money on me".

At the end of every month i download the transactions and categorise them all to work out where my money has been spent. Helps for budgeting purposes. So doing everything on card actually helps for me.

Also get qantas points too, so it’s a beast way of saving for the next holiday basically

Because you also set a budget and it’s easy to know where you have spent.

If you budget with cash you would have to manually account for every transaction

I got a message this morning from a friend who works with my wife, close friends her and her hubby with us. It's a black and white kitten, FB message went along the lines of "Hi, I hear your puppy wants a friend? I'd be a good friend"

I've since got three text messages from people, I assume the girls they both work with but I don't have the numbers in my phone, with images of this cat telling me "I'm desexed", "I'm microchipped", "I'm a good friend for Missy" ( our beagle ).

I've told them all that I don't reply to unidentified people and more so I don't crumble to pressure from people I don't know. Anywho, I won't be getting a cat.
