I got done for no rego 10 or so years ago. Got pulled over by cops, didn’t have an option for fine only, had to go to court.

Anyway it was because I tried to change the rego of the car from my mums name to mine (it was my first car and I was moving out of home) but I somehow managed to deregister the car instead so neither me or Mum got a renewal notice.

Judge was like yeah I tried to do that once, it was confusing, no fine. Only had to pay victims of crime levy

I don't work in Retail but try working in retail where respect is low and the pay rate is even lower.
