Remember the days as a kid when you'd go to your friends house with your towel over the shoulder knock on the door and say "Hello, is Michael playing?"

There used to be a pool place on Charlotte Street Smithfield, we'd jump the fence and use their display pool or the one at Elizabeh Fields Primary.

Although I did knock on their door originally like you described but they very quickly told me, ‘Michael was busy and doesn’t play with kids like you.’

To this day I still don’t know what they meant? ;)

I don't remember the Charlotte Street one but we use to jump the fence at the Fields too until the cops took us home one day and gave it too my parents who in turn gave us a roasting

Loading an esky up with a carton of Crownies, a carton of Carlsberg, a carton of Heineken and a carton of ciders and I've just tipped two bags of ice on them.

Should be right by 10 (ish).

The Carlsberg's go alright. The lads at my 50th bash hooked into them, that was the first esky to be emptied!
