Im expecting Glenelg to respond here.
Perhaps not win but keep it within 5 goals.

Surely a result that depends on Port Adelaide Power

I think there should be multiple options for all matches involving AFL Reserves teams.

A) 21 AFL Players
B) 18-20
C) 15-17
D) 12-14
E) <12

On this basis

A) Port by 40-45 points
B) Port by 60-65 points
C) Port by 50-60 points
D) Port by 10-15 points
E) Bays by 10-15 points

;)

Yes, I think the Mag-goos will comfortably dispose of the Bays.

GLENELG
League

Glenelg has shuffled its ruck department by calling upon NT Thunder recruit Neil Vea Vea for its match against Port on Friday night.

Vea Vea – who arrived at Brighton Road during summer – has forced out Warrick McGinty, who has been sent back to the Reserves.

The 24-year-old – who measures in at 195cm and 98kg – starred for the Tigers’ Reserves on Good Friday, finishing with 19 disposals, eight marks, nine tackles and a goal.

He has been joined in the Bays’ 23-man squad by consistent youngster Alex Martini, who has been named at half-forward.

Former North Adelaide goalsneak Derick Wanganeen and Ian Milera – who kicked 5.4 in the Reserves – have also been listed on the extended interchange bench.

F: White, Reynolds, Koster

HF: Martini, Scott, Chalmers

C: T. Milera, Snook, Hawkins

HB: Scharenberg, Curran, McCarthy

B: Uebergang, Proud, Joseph

R: Vea Vea, Nicholson, Motlop

INT: Mackenzie, Wanganeen, Schott, I. Milera, Sawford

IN: Wanganeen, Martini, I. Milera, Vea Vea

OUT: Bailey (ankle), McGinty

Reserves
H. Boyle, J. Boyle, Buchanan, Clark, Close, Corcoran, Cox, Davidson, Davis, Earl, Edwards, Feely, Hosie, Jordan, Kerrish, McGinty, Slade, Sullivan, Walker, Woolard, Yates.

Under-18
F: Carmody, Hein, Corso
HF: Wisdom, Le Cornu, Dowdell
C: Park, S. Schreiber, Strange
HB: Gould, Carney, Searle
B: McRae, Strickland, Lovelock

R: T. Jones, Betterman, Potter
INT: Brinkworth, Thompson, Holyoak, Liambis
EMG: O’Loughlin, N. Jones, Bonutto

PORT
League

Port Adelaide midfielder Jack Trengove will play his first SANFL Macca’s League match since the 2009 Grand Final when he tackles Glenelg on Friday night.

Recruited to Alberton after spending the past eight seasons at AFL club Melbourne, the former Demons co-captain has been listed to start in the centre square after being the Power’s travelling emergency last round.

The Sturt draftee has been joined by Magpies contracted pair Sam Davidson (Gold Coast) and Simon Wong (West Adelaide/Glenelg) on the five-man extended interchange bench.

Consistent half-back Jimmy Toumpas was unable to recover from a shoulder ailment after copping a heavy hit against the Crows in Round 1.

Key backman Jarrod Lienert will play his 50th Macca’s League match

F: Frampton, Ladhams, Farrell

HF: Johnson, Neade, Patmore

C: Amon, Atley, Summerton

HB: Irra, McKenzie, Garner

B: Lienert, Hombsch, Strange

R: Hayes, Trengove, Snelling

INT: Thomas, Proude, Davidson, Wong, Kluske

IN: Trengove, Davidson, Wong

OUT: Toumpas (shoulder)

Reserves
Allan, Bell, Boots, Cameron, Chen, Cock, Coxon, Crompton, Drummond, Finnie, Ginever, Hansen, Jones, King, Lockwood, Makoi, Mead, Ortiz, Patterson, Parker-Boers, Petrohilos, Thorpe-Morgan.

Glenelg will not like Toumpas being an out.

Interesting to see Derick Wanganeen's now at the Bays. Given his affinity for injuries I think he's better described as a 'gamesneak' than a 'goalsneak.'

No bet game for me. Youd think Port would cover the line but i expect the Bays to show something after last week (especially early) Does a night game help in assisting keeping the scores closer. Could the HT/FT double of Gl/PA bob up at $8? Might be worth a nibble.

Reserves score-
Glenelg 22.19.151
Port 4.0.24

Result went as expected to be honest. Might be a real long year for Port, the boys in that squad are so far out of their depth it's not funny now that all the originals have left.

That’s a massive turnaround from last year even though they have lost a few players.

Bays up 40 to 26 early in the second. Early of course but hope we can keep it going. I don't know what it is, but we seem to lift against the AFL sides. Have seen us play some of our better Football in recent years against Port and Adelaide.
No Surrender!
