Dunno, when I was in private practice as a medical specialist in Melbourne and I helped my local Vet set up his new billing software I noticed he was grossing double what I was. Howevr, I concede his operating costs may have been higher, and I am in a lower paid non-surgical speciality.

These days I do better - the bit of locum work I do from time to time pays twice as much per day worked compared to the private practice, and there are NO overheads. However, you do have to be away from home for weeks a time...

Adelaide Metro

So, I decide at 4.25 it's too hot to ride home, so I will catch the bus home. I had to go to the Adelaide Metro office to get my daughter a new card. I looked at the app and it says my bus is 4 mins away. I toddle off down Currie St to the bus stop and see about 100m away the 545x already at the stop. i run, not on the footpath but in the bus zone so the bus driver can see me. Get there, wave at the bus driver who by this time has his indicator on. He sees me (I'm now 10m away, waving in front of the bus, still standing on the road), he shakes his head and drives away.

******* prick.

It's 46 FFS. He's seen me run down the road. He's seen me standing there waving like I'm listening to My Sharona (thanks Dennis Commetti) and still drives off.

No wonder I don't catch public transport.

Happening more and more with this mob. I think their drivers are under that much pressure to hit their targets they are not waiting past the allocated time no matter what.

Their a special mob at Adelaide Metro. I catch the tram daily & it peak hour trams run every 10 minutes which is fine. Yesterday the hottest day in 80 years they reduce their services due to heat. Waited with well over 100-150 people for half an hour for a tram at Vic Square at 5pm last night. 3 trams came past they other way from Glenelg to City whilst we waited. One lady fainted, hit her head & had to be attended to by SA Ambulance whilst we all waited.

Bunch of D!cks at times SA Metro
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Ummm rail tracks are made of steel and correct me if I'm wrong steel expands when heated. Roll multiple trams or trains full of people over the track might actually cause more damage to the line causing delays or heaven forbid a derailment where hundreds of people are injured.

Yeh, not sure you're backing up my argument there. I see they did that because of safety. Whilst I feel for you and the others stuck out there, they did that for safety reasons, but anyway.......

EPAS - how can any government be so incredibly incompetent, stupid, ******* useless enough to spend nearly half a billion dollars on a system that was ****** from the very start? those responsible should be held accountable and jailed for life to be made an example of, not just allowed to walk off into the sunset with no accountability

Hard copies of patient records are kept in the basement at TQEH, similar records kept to the RAH > nRAH can't be held there for much longer due to the sheer weight of them, they can't be sent to an upper floor. Won't be long and we/they'll need a records facility off site from the (n)RAH and patients records will need to be sourced from there.

Rub your wedding ring on it. ( Assuming it's gold and you wear one ).

Yeah, on to it, better than the alternative wives tale.

I generally just stab it with a skewer for immediate relief, not so easy on the eyelid though.
