I thought long and hard about Tambang Besi but went for the thing that ran 2nd (By The Pound at $66/$11) instead .. When Brassel picked TB I was tempted to go again, Quinella paid over $200 #-o

Stupid game this one.

Had 4 syndicate bets on the weekend ( I'd gone 3 weeks in a row so had done my job )

3 bets, win only, all ran 2nd.

An any two, short priced fave and $81 shot, $81 shot runs 3rd, short priced fave doesn't show up.

Ack! Haha

I got talked out of backing it by James Jordan's preview haha. I feel like he gets more credit than he should as a tipster at times.

I never bet into the A2s or running doubles. Not sure why. Just doesn't feel right.

Thought I had a slice of the Lyre F4 on Saturday. Left the second horse out but in my head I thought I had it in. ACCCKKK

I tried to box 4 runners for the Tri in that race but they jumped before I could complete - Ended up running 1st, 2nd and 4th (Thankf Uck)

Told the blokes at my local I was going to campaign Nick X on this.

If you put a tri on and get 1st, 2nd and 4th you get half your money back.

I'd had a few, yes.

My Dad used to love the Daily double consolation prior to being sold to QLD

1st/2nd paid a divvy!

I think we all want a consolation of 1st/2nd/4th

Given every possible but died on its run for 3rd.
Ended up jumping at $11 bet boost, so money made if you went each way.

Absolutely!

Had a day on the lounge with a lergy yesterday ( couldn't be ******, actually ) and had a great day.

"Side" account went from under $100 to over $300 by the end of the day.

My brother messaged me yesterday to see if I could place a multi for him on my account, had common purpose in his first leg in R5 @ Warwick Farm.

I thought I may aswell use it as a rover in a roving tri with 4 others hoping the fave didn't run a place.

The 13 won in a photo against the 1, I was hoping the other way around but was still a tidy tri with Purpose coming in 3rd, collected $182 for my $4 bet to set my Saturday up nicely.

In my last dozen visits to the pub on a Saturday I have only walked out with less money than I went in there with twice, and that's after a gut full of piss too, can't win a trick on a Saturday with my phone while I watch my son play cricket though.
