They have a steering committee set up and are looking at joining either the APFL or BLGFA, though the AP seems to be their preferred option at this stage.
Not sure of the timeframe for start-up, but I assume 2020 or maybe 2021.

Really, the comp cant support Hamely Bridge why would it support Hamley. Unfortunateley, Greenock are a long way off anything competitive, its all pie in the sky stuff, noty even goal posts there, and to be honest most of their summer sport guysare happy kicking around a round ballBenchwarmer wrote:From their Facebook page:

Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
Been told by a official that the U15 association carnival will use the new SANFL rules that are in SANFL junior grades, 666, goal square kick out, last touch, anti density rule- while it may be a good idea as the U15 association
leads into the SANFL carnival etc etc, they would have to make sure all the coaches and umpires are on the same page with the rules and the last touch may be difficult as a lot of these games are umpired by the hosting clubs juniors.

They obviously didn’t learn much last time with M Hay. How many games is he sitting on? Ammos kick you out at 11 games or something?OnSong wrote:I've heard the league has given it the all clear.mighty hounds wrote:Wasn't that the story before he was de-registered from the ammos?whufc wrote:He is but from what I understand he has turned his life around in the last few years and this is another step forward for him.Hazbeen wrote:Pending clearance in for Virginia, Dylan Jessen, is he the bikie who had a holiday in Yatala that has previously played there?

Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
So does the league just automatically clear an ex bikie who’s been kicked out of the ammos from his past history? And not have to consult all the clubs involved in the league on whether they are ok with him playing? Sounds a little odd to me if that’s the case

Ammos kick you out at 16 i thought? Theres about a 2 game grace between Ammos life ban and a complete life ban from memory. At a guess any indiscretion will probably put Jessen over the life ban limit.Ace of Spades wrote: They obviously didn’t learn much last time with M Hay. How many games is he sitting on? Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
Adelaide FL (ammos) deregister players after they have accumulated a total of 12 games suspension. I'm pretty sure Dylan wasn't deregisterred by Adelaide FL. His last game was for Salisbury North against PAOC on Anzac Day 3 years ago. He was cited for whacking a bloke behind play. I'm not sure what penalty he got, but thought it was about 4 weeks. He has no other suspensions. I believe Salisbury North sacked him to save themselves from being kicked out of the league.mighty hounds wrote:Ammos kick you out at 16 i thought? Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
A day out out for the first match of the season and here are my predictions for what is shaping up to be another interesting year.
Two Wells to finish the minor round comfortable top of the ladder and get done on grand final day by a hungry Hummocks side.
Balak 3rd, Mallala 4th, then United, Virginia, Angle Vale and Hamley to round it out.
Hummocks will be the big improvers with most other sides not changing a whole lot from last year IMO.
Lachy Michael to win a well-earned league medal and Angus Bruggeman to lead the goal-kicking.
Tips for Round 1:
Mallala by 3-4 goals. Both sides with some key personnel changes but Mallala have had the wood over the Tigers in years past and don’t expect this to change.
Angle Vale by 10 goals. Another long year in for Hamley I’m afraid. Will be interesting to see whether Angle Vale will continue to improve as has been the case each year since they entered the competition. They have lost some young talent though - only time will tell.
Hummocks by 8-10 goals. Have lost some bright young talent but their young side will be better for a good finals series last season. Could be closer depending on whether Virginia get their big signings on the park - very quiet out of the Rams during pre-season as is generally the case so hard to get a good read on them.
Two Wells by 1-2 goals in the match of the round. Both sides haven’t got worse but Two Wells will again be the team to beat. Jason McPharlin to kick 5 and Dart for best on.

AFL suspend you from all leagues at 16
Jessen was not suspended by the league after that game
Salisbury North told him he was not required
The Advertiser report is pretty accurate about what happened
I don’t know if he has any suspensions from previous years

• past enforcer with bikie gang
• allegedly belted a bloke in footy return off the ball just 3yrs ago
• booted from most violent club in state for being 'undisciplined'
bad look for league. bad look for club.
Talent = yes
must hav stricked overheads on him if he is to play. 1 strike = out.
