i forgot you were an internet archivist (aka nerd)..make that 9 from 10, i must have erased that loss from my mind..

whilst it was a Church comp we were turf playing old scholars so i dont count that!

It's called Glandore Oval Marbles - the former home of the infamous Glandore FC. The summer tenant until the mid 1990's was the Edwardstown CC then the short lived Edwardstown and Old Concordians CC. When that club folded the Adelaide Cricket Club moved there from nearby Bailey Reserve and I'm not sure when the Glandore FC folded but the Westminster OS Dragons have been the winter tenant since 2002.

I think the Western Warriors were the remnants of the Greeks.

Just had a look at the ladder for this division and noticed that the 5th placed team has more points than the 4th placed team !! ..Now I know the 8 team comp meant some changes to the scheduling of games but was there any consultation done re points. Looking at the draw for the last two games if results went a certain way then Greenies could have more premiership points than Houghton who are currently 2nd ??? Apologies if this has been discussed.

Each side played each other twice.. top 4 secured finals with seeding 1-4 positions to be determined, bottom 4 played off for 5th spot.

Hence why the last 3 weeks of the season have top 4 playing each other and bottom 4 playing each other.

Not sure now Bedge ..I Just looked at the ladder and Greenies being shown in 3rd?????

Think about it lads. The SportsTG system would not be sophisticated enough to deal with how the league is structuring this comp. Whether they can make a manual adjustment or not who knows but the bottom line is that Greenacres can only finish 5th at best regardless of where the ladder has them.

I'm not disputing what your saying ..just pointing it out......and last week Greenacres had more points than the 4th placed team but still showed in 5th spot...

You have your answer Turk. Now showing as 5th again. Clearly the ladder resets to its natural order when a new round is played and scores are loaded. Then the league manually adjusts the order which it has done In the last couple of hours. No doubt the same thing will happen next week even if the ladder shows Greenacres higher than 5th on Saturday night/Sunday morning. So please save us from a similar post next week.
