From memory the score was NA 14.16 to GL 8.23, played @ Prospect Oval from memory, the 1973 Tigers were a very good side, use to go and watch them every Saturday back then.

14.13 to 8.22
Regardless, your memory is better than Glenelg was in 1973.

Watching the replay for the 10th time, each time I find something new to appreciate!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

So what were the reasons why Glenelg won the 2019 Premiership ? From what Ive heard and read, it rightly appears the main reason was the influence of coach Mark Stone There might be other reasons that were contributing factors If so , what might they be ?

I'd say winning the GF was the main reason Mal.

From an outsiders perspective, looked as though all the players bought in to the Coaches plan. Added the cattle required to compliment those developed through the club system or recruited in previous years. It's always a balance rather than just 1 thing. From Round 1 when I saw my mob fall in against the Bays, I thought they were the likely premiers. Every single time thereafter that opinion was only bolstered. An exceptional side.

Nick Chigwidden was interviewed on the Hayes/Cornes SEN radio show 28/10 Mentioned was : The club was in crisis in 2016 Since those times some great people were brought into the club So it appears that the club has ended up with Good coach Good players Good hierarchy A good combination of factors

Typically, you ask for confession if you've done something wrong.

So whose got their premiership merch yet, Bays fans?? Mine is still on order due to a delay in the Premiership scarf with all the players names on it. Waited 33 years for new premiership goodies, have no probs waiting a couple of extra weeks.

Pretty poor. Most of it was printed in June, no real reason for despatch to be delayed.
