Hearing units have picked up mark garner mick Taylor Inness Chatham Matty Neil Scott hiscott & corey Clark. Also heard they will be attempting to appeal Steve garners ban of playing in the saafl, if true going to be strong comp!

Forgive me from failing to be impressed by any of those names.

For that young lad it's all in the mind for him, I think his 18 or something wait till his 22 or 23 to say what type of player he will be
I remember watching him was playing in 4 diffrant positions or something then played down back and did well don't be to harsh bedge, unfortunately lots of the younger generation are jumping to diffrant clubs now days times have changed not for the better that's for sure

He’s certainly got ability, and yes it’s probably in his head but he’s far too immature at the moment to be a good A grade footballer. Don’t care how old he is, plenty others around the same age who don’t behave the same.

He jumps ship at the drop of a hat - how many clubs has he signed at or tried to sign at over the past few years? Even worse when he thinks he’s worth $$ and tries to shop himself around.

He might be a good player by 23 but my guess is he’ll either have quit the game by then, or won’t he wanted/respected by any clubs and will flounder in a low div B/C grade.

I disagree to be honest seen him play some good A grade games at the Unit and North pines, very harsh on himself more then anything, I guess you might have to go out to watch a few Bramha lodge games and see how he develops but I would put money on the table to say he will find a club that suits him and play 200+ A grade games as the other guy said on here it's all in the mind for him if he straightens that up for sure got the talent to work with at any club, also if you think maybe he will give footy up I say that would be a waste of talent bedge as I said very young still.......... What's your thoughts on the Promotion and relegation will Mawsons stay in div7 or be told to go div6 who comes up and down..... Mark Garner would be massive for the Units top 5 for sure if they sign both of them

A big reason the younger generation jump clubs is because coaches don't build a proper culture and set the correct standards at these lower divisions. They decide to throw the money around instead, for a short term gain and the club ends up where they started. Too many coaches worry about the 2-3 years they are at a club. They don't worry enough about the 3+ years and the situation they leave a club after they are gone.

Depth at Houghton is insane going to be good for players pushing to play As and also put pressure on A grade players to hold spot

Watched Weetra play at the Units in 2018 and for a young lad he will be a great defender in a few years time one to look out for, the Mawson lakes pick ups and leek from Fitzroy will be massive Bramha will be hard to beat I would say in 2020

turn it up - they have recruited Div 7 footballers and kids whilst Houghton have recruited Div 1-4 footballers - surely Houghton are all in with the list they have assembled 8)

I see what you did there..

Yeah it's a really good thing too. Just means also our B grade should be quite strong as well. Can't wait for season 2020 to start.
