Trinity had a good win over Walkerville and Ingle Farm snuck home against Marion. I believe Pooraka v OSCA and Grange v Para Hills didn't get away.

Interesting Pooraka didn't play given they have covers now.

I think the pitch was ok, but the surrounds were too wet. Must be frustrating to invest money, time and effort into covering a pitch and still not be able to play.

Did they cover the whole block or just the game wicket?

Going by that description it's only a single cover.

Heard Trinity in the A3's had a similar issue. Umpires unwilling to proceed due to an unsatisfactory section of the square after waiting almost 2 hours to come to that decision

Thoughts on the run out at 2:10?

Not sure I'd be appealing for that one if I were the bowler....

Happens on a weekly basis, it's just not on video.
Ump gave it out like they give lots of things out that are not.
Shit happens.

That's actually out. Bats in the air when the stumps get hit.
But hey, next week he'll probably be plumb and given not out.

We need umpires, but who wants to stand out in the heat and get abused by sooky bowlers all day.
$$cked if I'd do it.

Hmmm .... I thought the ball had to hit the stumps and dislodge the bails. :D

That's bad lol.
Watching the rest of the video (Didn't know Dartfish did cricket too-
The second wicket of the first opening bowler (I'm assuming that is Pannach looking the the scorecard on MyCricket?) is a good one for his highlights reel, off stump cartwheeling towards the wicket-keeper.
And how's the second change bowler I think it is (Hauge) taking a wicket off a no ball, spewing!

Would be interesting viewing if all games were recorded like that.
We have all played cricket long enough to understand how frustrating it can be sometimes.
I got caught down leg side off an inswing bowler in a game to make the finals, never got near the ******* thing.
I was bemused they appealed, on your bike son.
6 for sweet FA overnight chasing 130 odd but thankfully we got up.
I've given some rippers to umps, this bloke got a beauty.
He pulled the pin on umpiring that year, had a shocker.

We used to have one ump ask for our games because one of the wives used to put on a fair spread for home games, he made a couple of shockers just before the break and I turned to him and said on the way off "Don't you dare go near our food".

He leaned against a downpipe looking at the table and with a couple of minutes to go before end of the tea break I nodded to him and said "Go on then man, sorry".

Two LBW's in the first over back suggests I did the right thing.

I recon Reynella won the "Spirit of Cricket" award recently!
A few umps might start changing their votes seeing this effort....

Ive watched this over and over.
Now i know I'm biased but looked to me like he knocked it onto the stumps.
Batter had a good view and he didn't complain, just walked off.

Thought you were joking at first, but here you go. Ball was dropped well before he touches the stumps

I stand corrected. Only looking at it on my phone.

It's was only round one and the cheating has started, someone's in for a long year.
