Re: BL&G Football League
He's a terrible coach. I have no idea how people keep giving him a role. Do they not interview the man or is it all off reputation? Tactically the worst coach I have played under.

Jars doesn’t coach for nothing so interested to know.
Probably around the 100k mark, then he can afford an expensive Uber driver or 4 with league experience
A bit like cooking a carp.
I think it would be more about Jarman’s entourage.
Correct:
Put the carp in a boiling drum of water.
Also put in a brick.
Boil for 8 hours.
Throw away the carp and eat the brick.
I have heard a few of his match day addresses and had NFI what he was saying.
Didn't matter whether they were winning or losing, none of it made any sense.
You could see from the look on the players
dedja: Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Andrew Jarman has a very poor record coaching especially of late?
I can't help but think clubs get sucked into a coach having a "profile" rather than being a decent coach. I know the ammo leagues are not the AFL but the best coaches recently in the AFL haven't been the most high profile people
There are some coaches out there with pretty decent records who don't have a high profile who must be doing something right
Totally agree.
Jars should just concentrate on media, i guess his love for the game just pops up opportunities and he can't refuse the offerings whatever they may be.

His personality isn’t for everyone.
Tactically he’s a good coach but verbally he’s terrible
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

I didn’t say he should coach BUT tactically he knows the game well.
He struggles to communicate that though

Can confirm it wasn't me. Believe me I'm one of many who feel the same. I'm gobsmacked that he's ever had more than 2 coaching roles. People should know better by now. Mark my words his team will be a rabble structurally.

Was it the boys at Gaza. He caused a mass exit a few years ago leading to them being relegated to Div 3. I have had some dealings with him previously but all I can say he’s a wan*#$r.

Re: BL&G Football League
Sam Colquhoun to Tanunda as playing coach, well they are loading up again aren't they. Heard on the grape vine- apparently my informant tells me he may receive more than the departing coach. Questions asked how you go from Premiers to bottom then become a powerhouse again, COVID no salary no players. Add in possibly Paul Stewart, Justin Westhoff- wow big inclusions if true and maybe 8 premiership players they will be back in the premiership race again.
Moss back to Balaklava - as reported to go back home to coach - big loss for GCFC. Many locals thought he may stay at GCFC.
May find a few CDFC players filtering into the BLG after the recent departure of their first year coach. Sorry to see Jeff Andrews depart.
Wait and see as it is the silly season after all !!!!
Signing off for 2020 see you in 2021 - Merry Christmas and Happy new year.

Re: BL&G Football League
The Adelaide Lutheran Sports Club is based in the South Parklands in the fringe of the city. Teams compete in a variety of football, netball and cricket competitions with a developing junior program and strong connection with past players. We attract a wide variety of players who consider us to be THE country club in the city.
2020 has been a challenging and complex year but one in which the club was able to get all three grades deep into finals, make a senior Grand Final and secure a fourth successive B grade Premiership. We competed in Division 7, 7R and C5 in 2020. The club is seeking a senior coach as well as B and C grade coaches for the 2021.
Expectations for the Senior Coach are:
Develop a club wide style of play and mentor coaches in lower grades
Ensure all teams are selected collaboratively with clear selection criteria
Play a significant role in the recruitment and retention of players.
Provide clear feedback and communication to players around selection, progress and opportunities to improve
Ensure training is well organised, focussed on game day strategy, is enjoyable, has variety and has objectives that are clear to the playing group.
Open to, and considers feedback from the committee, coaching team and playing group
Engage with all members of the ALSC community
Be an ambassador and role model to which players, spectators and game/club officials look to as a good example
Have a minimum Level 1 accreditation with Level 2 preferred.
We are also seeking applications for B and C grade coaches. These are significant player development and welfare roles with a high level of communication and player feedback expected. The ultimate aim is to contribute to the long term success of the A grade.
Please contact Mick Emmett on 0427 686 193 or mickemmett77@gmail.com for any further information or to register your interest. Please include an introductory letter and include references and previous playing and coaching history.
Applications close Friday October 30
