North Pines will probably get the rough end of the stick here, even if they win outright it will only prop Dublin's points up too, especially considering Virginia take on the Gardens. Pines will be hoping for a massive upset there to reach the finals or hope that Angle Vale capitulate to score less than 5 points while they manage 18+ points themselves
I'm tipping Angle Vale to get up at home against Westies.
The Pines and Virginia to both get outrights.
Westies
Vale
Virginia
Dublin
Fair bit of rain coming on Saturday might play around with the ladder a bit considering Virginia and North pines have already won...

Who's on what for you guys?
I take it you'll go the tonk for 10-15 overs to try and muster up 250-300?
Ideally, you'd want 300 to give you 19 points for the match but you don't want to soak up too many overs getting them.

Re: PDCA
Yeah that’s the plan.
Rezai is on about 50 and Sharkey 15 or so.
Freeman hit 70 something in real quick time.
Jamie will be looking to have some fun. Probably bat for another 25 overs I think. Depending on the weather

Yeah, no matter which way you look at it your destiny is in Angle Vale's hands.
You need to score at least 12.36 more points than them, it comes down to them winning or not, Virginia will go for the jugular to try and not meet Westies until the GF.

Yeah if we can get 300 and win outright and they lose, we should go just pass them

Re: PDCA
Grade 2 is looming to be a fair battle.
Units have top spot sewn up, Royals probably 2nd with an outright this week despite having half their batting line up unavailable.
Smithfield need to win and score 5.5 points more than Craigmore or they can both leapfrog OTH if Craigmore can score 2.2 more points than the Goats, and Smithfield outscore them by 7.62.
Basically whoever finishes 4th is buying themselves one more weekend of cricket, whoever goes up to Grade 1 with the Units would want to start doing some recruiting.

Re: PDCA
Yesterdays results:
Salisbury West 4/94 (11.5 overs) T McIntyre 69 from 39 balls defeated Eyre Royals 8/93 (20.0 overs) C Mansueto 26 from 31 balls and D Ward 3/12.
Women's Grade 1
Eyre Royal 1/155 (26 overs) defeated Central United 6/152 (32 overs)
Women's Grade 2
Eyre Royal 167 defeated Two Wells 5/89
Women's Grade 3
Smithfield 1/133 defeated Eastern Park 2/92
The Women's Grade 3 was easily the most enjoyable to watch of the women's GF's - the T20 format much better than 32 overs each side, which seemed to drag on forever and was pretty boring.. probably helped with the fair support both Smithfield and Eastern Park mustered.

Re: PDCA
Grade 2 Ladder before Rd 14
103.47 - Central United
99.38 - One Tree Hill
97.21 - Craigmore
96.52 - Eyre Royals
91.77 - Smithfield
67.18 - ATCO
57.70 - Enfield
46.95 - Salis West
Progressive Scores
Central United 7/161 vs One Tree Hill 77
Salisbury West 1/23 vs ATCO 82
Craigmore 116 vs Smithfield 4/49
Eyre Royals 181 & 0/16 vs Enfield 96
Ladder after week 1
103.47 - Central United - 113.08
99.38 - One Tree Hill - 101.55
97.21 - Craigmore - 99.17
96.52 - Eyre Royals - 106.49
91.77 - Smithfield - 94.26
67.18 - ATCO
57.70 - Enfield
46.95 - Salis West
Eyre Royals and Units will probably win outright, that'll give them 1st and 2nd... but the interesting one for me is OTH.
Should Smithfield get the runs, then have another bowl and chase as many points as possible, they potentially could go to around 103pts.. Craigmore on 99.17 should bowl out Smithfield which will take them to 100.39 and if they have a slap to try and get points no reason they couldn't gain another 1.5 or so.
It's a long shot, but OTH could well miss the 4.
Also get around Westies who are currently doing a number on ATCO.

I think it's very likely, the Units have nothing to lose or gain, they'll score another 50-60, bowl the Goats out for 120-130 to give OTH 4 points for the game.
Craigmore will bowl Smithfield out, probz around the 150 mark, Craigmore will try and slap around 150-180 leaving Smithfield a chase of around 120-150, could be a reverse outright somewhere but either way, Craigmore should score at least 5.5 points.
If Smithfield don't make the 116 required then the show is over for them full stop.

Not quite sewn up top spot. Mathematical possibility if Eyre make some more runs with an outright and Units fail to get OTH out again.. it wil be close.
Units with the advantage of knowing the runs ER declare on before the end of the day.
add what Bedge said and Smithfield somehow roll Craigmore, OTH will have to scramble for some points with the bat!
Gotta love 2 day cricket on days like this Saturday!

Re: PDCA
I suspect Royals will bat on another 50 runs - 100 at the most if they’re going good rate.. they’ll declare before the end of the first session, won’t want to bat too long and risk weather playing a part or giving Enfield too much of a sniff.

It would have to snow at Elizabeth Vale and be fine and sunny in Davvo for the Units to not finish top, another 39 runs and the rest of the day to bowl the Goats out and they can't be overtaken, Royals will need to score 220 minimum then and bowl Enfield out again, I'm sure the Earwigs will put up a better showing in the 2nd dig or Bedgie could be driving home with a boot full of piss after they capitulate.

Depends on where they're aiming to finish, I'm sure they'll be in contact with someone at Argana and finishing 2nd is pretty much a given, they'll need to go the tonk big time if they're eyeing off top spot, 120isn't going to cut it.
