They're going to decide last week.
I just dont think its fair to anyside that has dominated all year and loses in the only final to qualify for the GF and then misses out on promotion. I understand that the finals series has been changed in accordance to the SAAFL's decision to still hold a finals series. But where's the fair opportunity to the sides that dominate all year to fall short in 1 game because that was their bad game. This may not happen but im just saying that it seems a bit unfair if it does. No promotion or relegation last year due to covid and the restricted season.
I personally feel for the 5th side in this comp who ever it is. If this was a 10 team comp this is the equivalent of winning 12 games and that’s not enough to get you an official finals gig. Can’t remember the last time I’ve seen that.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Pooraka have probably been the most consistent and dominate team in Div 5. They will more than likely win their final and go to the GF. But if they were to miss out it would be disappointing for them.

Div 5 has been brutal for as long as I can remember.
I recall Smithfield playing Ingle Farm @ Rowe Park in round 18 of 2005 for the minor premiership, Ingle Farm got up, Smithfield ended up 5th after the minor round.
There's been plenty more similar examples in this division.

I don’t think any team has been consistent or dominant. Each side in the top 5 has had a period through the year where they have looked a little vulnerable. Pooraka lost to CLG, Kenilworth and Hectorville in a 5 game patch. Personally think it comes down now to who can put their best sides on the park when it matters - Add a night game to the scenario which will really throw a spanner in to the works.

In B4E defence, he hasn’t caught up to that part of the season yet.

Lockleys and Kenilworth today for the majority wasn’t for the faint hearted. These games over the last 2 years have produced some of the most intense contests I’ve seen at this level. Nothing short of a finals standard today.
