It is a swinging elbow, thats not how you fend off a tackle. He should get weeks and I imagine the kilburn guy will also get weeks. If the league are wanting to stamp out the high contact then they need to be consistent.

There's like 100 hours of vision the league have covered each week, how are they to know of every bump that takes place for every game?
You could argue that the umpire was blindsided for both incidents that are being debated, we have the advantage of being on the outside of the contest in one of them and can see side on for the other.

Agree with both here, they both should be in strife, however the umps cant always see the perfect angle of every incident.
Now that dartfish record the games, there is no reason why the league can't take it into their own hands. Both should go, regardless if no red cards were handed out on the day.

Clubs have the right to lodge a request for an investigation should they wish to do so

If I am on the field and can see both incidents clearly then surely one of the two umpires can also see the incident.
Two years ago West Lakes sent in a request to have an incident reviewed by the league resulting in a two week suspension for a Kilburn player.

Cant really argue that he was blind sided. He paid a free kick for one and a yellow card for the other.

I was more alluding to issuing red cards, it was would've been evident of the high contact, the immediate reaction from all with the first one and he would've at least seen high contact on the 2nd, the severity would've been hard to determine from where he was.
You've really got to be 100% certain when issuing a red card, that was my point.

Perhaps all A grade games should be yellow cards only and referred to a match review.
Then umpire doesn’t feel worried about issuing a yellow and right outcome can come from it on review.

By posting about it on the forum, @The Bedge has given Pembroke a leg up this week leading into their final against SMOSH.

You're kidding yourself if you don't think Kilburn reported it Sunday.

Not blaming you at all, just excited that you've fully immersed yourself in the college ways.
