Big bodied beast of a midfielder who can take a game away in a quarter (Cripps) 2. Rolls Royce midfielder (Walsh) 3. Big boy forward with a presence (McKay) 4. Speed in the backlines (Saad/Williams) 5. Real good Intercept mark in defence (Weitering)
6. Team defence. 7. Forward pressure. They've been massive gaps in previous years. Opposition waltzed out of our forward line and through our backline like it was swiss cheese. No point having all of the top 5 without the bottom two.
I'm not getting carried away just yet.
Forward pressure comes from that defensive zone.
There's no doubt Voss has been involved in that at Port, our back half zone has been one of the best for 3 or 4 years and when that zone pushes up with the ball forward it makes it hard to slice through. You spend more time forward than the opposition and while it makes it harder to be clean inside 50 ( in the first 2 weeks Carlton have had lower disposal efficiency and lower I50 disposal efficiency and won both games ) with the congestion around the ball it means you're winning the territory game.
If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.

Can’t go to tomorrow nights game Port v Hawks as I’m unwhashed. I can’t find anyone to use them so if anyone would like to go tomorrow night please PM me and I will try and get them to you. They are premium seats in great spot and won’t cost you any money, I just want them being used.

We are fielding what is left of the list and then tops.
Basically if you are even a rookie you are getting a game. It's anyone with boots on the list put them on.
In short, I would be picking North this weekend.

Commentators ’Lloyd didn’t rush it as he didn’t know the rule’ pffft what a load of bullshit, he’s exactly like Aaron Hall, Kane Cornes and to a lesser extent McCrae from the dogs, they much prefer to ‘gain’ a super coach handball than to the team thing and concede a behind. The modern game is clouded by bullshit possession numbers. Jake Lloyd, Aaron Hall or Kane Cornes 45 touches or Cyril’s 12? If you have any clue about the game at all, you should know the answer.
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

Can we all just appreciate that Isaac Heeney’s 3 second quarter goals were all snapped superbly on his non-preferred left boot. Class
