Rankine is set to announce he wants a trade to Adelaide today.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

Adelaide have pick 5, 23, 77.

With F/son and free agency 5 will be 6 or 7, 23 might become 26 to 30.

Would 6 and 28 get it done?

Ask crows fans they think pick 6 and they get Rankine along with a 2nd round pick in return, delusional fantasists.

Wouldn’t think so but this is the Suns we are talking about here. They need players more than picks so perhaps 6 and a quality player

I would have thought 6 and 28 would get it done.

Suns may want a good player but that's unlikely to happen.

Gold Coast have 7, 25, 31, 32, 43, 50, 67, 68, 79, add 6 and 28 and they have 6 picks inside 32.

Who do Gold Coast try and pry away from Fremantle with picks then?

I fear a move to Adelaide may de-rail Rankine’s AFL career.

Rankine was Pick 3 and has franked that with good form, so that's your starting point.

Crows will jump as its someone that wants to come home, but gee they needs mids not small forwards.

Disappointed Rankine chose to leave Gold Coast, dont know why, I guess its just my mentality to barrack for the underdog. Cant stand Tom Lynch and Stephen May for the same reason, still hope Rankine does well simply because he's SA.
Gold Coast will never get anywhere as a club with constant departures for picks, hopefully they continue to rise up the ladder and make finals to keep players like King, Lukocious etc at the club longer term.

No Gold Coast franchise in history has been able to sustain any type of success. It could not be a worst place for a sporting organisation with young men involved.
