Worse thing for Redbacks is winning this game easily (like they will) as they will then think they have a good squad, not that far away, dont need to make sweeping changes, give Lehmann new contract, blah, blah, blah...

Bowling has been good this season IMO, batting woeful other than Neilson and a cameo here and there from others

Mcsweeney has been good. 3 centuries and 3rd on the run scoring list this season

Manetti and Nielsen have been very solid in the middle order.

Great timing by Carey to get runs for the Aussies.

Inglis has taken an amazing catch in the shield to dismiss Marcus Harris to go with his 136 from the other week.

He is easily keeping (intended) his spot in the test side.

WA won by 138 runs to claim top spot on the Shield table and book a third consecutive home final.

WA second innings 168
Bancroft 58
Boland 4/51

Vic second innings 130
Kellaway 53
Haskett 3/12

Queensland lead NSW by 115 at stumps day three.

Anyone else think the finale to the Shield season should be the final round? Top wins the Sheffield Shield. I don't think a final is needed. Often a boring game and an anti-climax in comparison to the final round - especially with the Draw for the top team being as good as a win.
