Thanks Bedge and Armchair. Reading Satchelola took me back to studying Shakespeare at school. I quite enjoyed it even if I didn’t really understand it. So Bedge, as the fount of all knowledge north of the bogan proof fence - where does the Virginia Football Director fit in with all of this?

Bogan proof fence
Just quietly, Colonades is only 20min drive from Brighton - some would argue that's the capital of Boganville.
Suspect footy director is one of the rare mentioned credible people involved. How much influence or say he actually has though is up for debate.. i'll be coming sniffing for his services end of year though.

Pretty impressive midweek. Normally have to wait until the weekend for that sort of quality!

Virginia and A grade coach Wayne Knowles parted ways, then B grade coach / asst coach Trevor Greig was also moved on. Both persons behaviour, coaching style and feedback from the playing group was identified as a key reason.. or that was at least what was informed.. Knowles then coached the association side?
Also have let another assistant go Mark Papps who is going to Seaton (hence Rambler comment?) but Papps also had a hand in the Knowles / Greig decisions?
Guessing what Satchelola is saying is one or two stalwarts of the clubs pull all the strings - and if they don't like something, they interject, even if it's to the detriment to the club, and then shift the blame and hide the decision behind playing group?
Now perhaps suggesting that players who have come to the club, want out due to mismanagement?
I could be miles off here by the way..
If you take away the question marks and replaced them with full stops I believe you are pretty close, from what I’ve heard.

Whether you're miles off or spot on, I completely understood all that
All I got from both posts was Virginia are imploding.

All have one thing in common. Run by a bunch of Muppets. There it is, I said it its truth just look at the results. Mid-season break is going to be busy. What rhymes with day holds all the strings. Satchelola out!
So the Knowles/Grieg dynamic duo have 'Parted ways' from 2 different clubs before the half way mark of the season 2 years in a row
But it's not their fault, it's definitely the clubs
and you're calling the clubs the muppets

I’ve kept quiet up until now but I think you have it horribly wrong here. Yes I parted ways with the club after round 3 but I’ll keep those reasons private for all involved. Trev parted ways before the season started so FC you’re wrong. Never have I left a club mid season so you’re wrong again. At the end of the day Satcheola has an issue with the club and that’s his prerogative to display that on here. There’s two FACTS, so maybe get them right instead of making up stories.
Also who ever said we were the dynamic duo, or is that’s just you bearing old personal differences yet again.

Ok, what about the three games you lasted at Brahma Lodge before you were asked to leave?

Great come back, and actually I didn't expect anything else from you.
Brahma was 10 years ago and I was working away so that's fine. Not 2 years in a row as you have said. Anyway how dare I get on YOUR forum and out you making stories up about me yet again.
See you just admitted you have a vendetta against me. Oh well I'm not losing any sleep.
I'll probably get banned after this cause that's what you normally do.

I'm not making up stories, i just got my years out of whack. Happens as we get older.
Not my forum, and like you, im not losing any sleep over it or you
You place far too much importance on yourself if you think i have a vendetta against you.

Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
Umpires cracking down on "melee" events now.
I believe they're adopting a similar policy to the Yorke Peninsula where a melee event is referred to the league for penalties.
Not sure if anyone can shed any further light on this but apparently the definition of a melee is a fracas of 3 or more players.

I am heading to Adelaide in a couple of weeks and was wondering if the league still produces the Informer each week.

It's produced by some clubs but not all clubs? I think? Not like it once was.

I haven't seen it once this year. The only club i haven't been in yet is Balak. The rest i always check out the Memorabilia boards and then head in for a beer. I guess this doesn't mean its definitely not around but i haven't seen it or seen anyone with it.
