Luke Allan wins the medal with 30 votes.
Asfaha & Weetra 22
Teefy 21
Kaesler, J Shaw & Walczak 18.
Not sure how accurate it is. Trev Rigney was on 8 votes after round 10, then got a 3 and a 1 to finish on 4 votes.
Name Surname got the 3,2 and 1 in the Round 14 Mitchell Park v Para Hills game.

Re: 2024 Adelaide Footy League - Division 7
Final leaderboard is 100% accurate. Votes are loaded after each game by the umps and the total votes are taken from that. The round by round votes for the sake of tonights visual presentation is where the human factor comes into it and errors can and will be made. But they aren’t relying on those vote slides to tally the final votes.

Fair enough. Trev must have missed the top 10 on a countback then. Finished with 12 votes same as 10th.Down the Hill wrote:Final leaderboard is 100% accurate. Good to see Luke Win. From the couple games I witnessed he is able to compete higher than Div 7Courtney Fish wrote:Luke Allan wins the medal with 30 votes.

Love a loyal bloke getting some recognition and a few wins to go along with it. Hopefully they get stronger again next year.

Re: 2024 Adelaide Footy League - Division 7
So OSB got their first medal winner
Will they get their first flag?
Now, i know donuts about the SFL (perhaps DTH can school us here) but from what little info I've been able to find, this club hasn't won a flag in their current form of OSB and you have to go back to 2001 for a D2 win as Lonsdale? (happy to be corrected, btw)
Para Hills have a 5 win- 17 loss Grand Final record, the second worst in the league.
whoever wins this is going to be celebrating for a month

Re: 2024 Adelaide Footy League - Division 7
The Lonsdale Bears (green and yellow) formerly Mawson Bears won the SFL D2 flag in 2001. They previously won a D2 flag in 1992. The O’Sullivans Beach Lions (maroon and white) won the SFL D2 flag in 1996 & 1997. The clubs merged at the end of 2001 and became the OSB/Lonsdale Lions from 2002 which was the year the SFL merged the two divisions into a single division. OSBL did make the final 8 a couple of times in their early post merge seasons with the last being 2007 from memory.
The amazing thing about that 2001 flag was that it was a final 4 and Lonsdale had a 6-10 or 7-9 record and snuck into 4th and I think were 6 wins behind 3rd. I don’t think they got closer than 10 to 12 goals to the top 3 during the season. 2001 was a horrible wet and windy finals series and Lonsdale somehow managed to do the impossible and win 3 finals against teams that smashed them all season.
PS: For fear of upsetting Carey but the last Para Hills flag they celebrated for 12 months!

Well done to Para Hills on their double flag and to all the blokes down there who have contributed.
Was extra glad to see the B grade win - I see the charlatan of D7R somehow managed to worm his way back into a coaching role and to another losing Grand Final.
Hearing he’s the hot favourite for the A grade job now, and like all good used car salesmen / con artists has promised that club a plethora of players ready to come sign as soon as they name him.

Mostly accurate. But a forward pocket that kicked 5 goals for the year and finished the season in the B's.
