EUDUNDA has not had a cricket club since the late 1980"s at least if your gonna sook up use the correct nameinterested onlooker wrote:Whats the collective noun for a bunch of cockheads who play cricket and sook when they get busted cheating? EUDUNDA
EUDUNDA - ROBERTSTOWN (ERCCA)
It was only cheating when SANDY LOST, but not called prior to the game further evidence to support

Re: BLCA 2016-17
Apparently B&L playing ASCA in February sometime at South Gawler, i cant see too many blokes putting their hand up to play an extra game at the worst facilitiy in the comp. Not sure what the point of this game would be, ASCA is all hard wicket.

Re: BLCA 2016-17
Australian Country Championships for both Men and Women are on in the Barossa from Jan 3-10,
Interestingly Trinity Oval is being used for some matches but Sandy Creek, South Gawler, Willaston and Gawler Central are not. Besides Sandy Creek being too small, Its probably a council issue with the Gawler clubs. SACA and Barossa council are quite cosy and to a lesser extent the Light council which has a few matches at Greenock, Kapunda and Eudunda and even a match at Mallala. I dare say there is absolutely no relationship at all between SACA and Gawler council since the Gawler council hasnt put a cent into local facilities in a very long time and despite all the development in Gawler in the last 30 years they have not built one new oval. The Gawler clubs struggle for a 2nd oval for their lower grade teams having to use places like Wasleys and Roseworthy. Seems the Gawler council is happy to take rates but not provide community facilities in line with their growth.
Looks like there is matches every day at Tanunda, Nuri and Angaston, i believe this was more a council stipulation than the clubs wanting them everyday.

Re: BLCA 2016-17
Country Champs should be a great thing for the area
lets see how that goes
Pity they dont play at Sandy they could but up there averages and their egos like the lads that play there every week
40 meter hit for 6 square - well batted
although I do believe that Sandy have another carnival on at about the same time - I may be wrong

Re: BLCA 2016-17
Just looking over some of the results from A1 Kapunda v Tanunda have manufactured an outright result with two overs. What an absolute disgrace that is for the whole competition. They have essentially fixed a match…
Tanunda trying to play it off as their only chance for finals…. Needing 10 wickets for an outright win in 12 balls of an innings is never going to happen and is a joke. The league should take action and strip points / fine the two clubs as that is a clear case of a fixed result.
If the league don’t take appropriate action, it will clearly show the rest of the competition that it is fine to fix results, do dodgy under the table deals moving forward….
