Skill level was poor from both sides. Connection from backs to forwards for both sides was poor. A game lacking in passion and intensity compared to vs Crows last week. Eagles experienced players such as Knight, Sinor, Rowe held things together for a win. Cooke developing nicely down back and Beattie is starting to show the form that had Freo get him over to train in 2024. Eags will need to improve a lot to get close to Bays next week.

Why's Adam D'Aloia playing ressies? Midfield too strong?

Had off season shoulder surgery, delayed pre-season, has been a bit sluggish and has taken time to find form. Played a couple of reasonable reserves games, but last Friday night in the reserves game he was best on ground and looked a lot sharper. I would expect him to make the league team Vs Glenelg.
