Well done West, deserved to win. Eags in 5 by default. Along with north, the 2 worst sides in the comp at present.
Please norwood, win a few, get in the 5 and put us out of our missery.
Jury out on Jacobs, form in the first half of the year excellent (6-3 win loss) but shocking second half in 2024 and heading same way this year after being 6-3 win loss again.
In his defence, we have used 39 players at league level this year and unfortunately, too many of them are not up to league level.
Positives are Lukas Cooke and Jack Cook (son of Tim). There seems to be a lack of on-field leadership as too many of our senior players are injured. We are also quite small physically. West's big men monstered us yesterday.
Some potentially ugly games coming up with Glenelg and sturt again. Will be lucky to beat South away and north at home.
Luck is where opportunity meets preparation

Congrats to the Bloods, a good number of passionate fans, and their hard-working players got them home. Given the last two games this was a good outing for WWT. Out of contention in the first half, we showed a lot more pluck and the last quarter was a great contest, Lot of feeling between the teams and I don't mean love! It ran high at 3/4 time when Jordan Lukac sang a 55m goal and all the Eagles players had their own hakka in front of the West's bench including tongue wagging and impolite language. Westies players and supporters returned thesentiment in spades. A box-on was avoided, but, the passion that was shown warmed us up - lot of life in the SANFL still, thank God!
