So our 15yo Mazda CX7 car gearbox gave up as posted previously. Not replacing it. Buying a newer 2nd hand car .

What do we do with it? Do we ring wreckers or ring car yards see who gives us more in current state?

Marketplace, don't be in a rush, someone will pilfer it for the parts.

ring a couple of wreckers first though to get a feel for a half decent price.
