Not ideal but bowling is the one area where we have some depth to come in.

Bartlett, Ellis, Richardson and Morris (inj) are the other fast bowlers with national contracts
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

CUMMINS V BOLAND ratings

BETTER BOWLER...PC
BETTER FIELDER..PC
BETTER CAPTAIN Insufficient data
BETTER BATSMAN...PC

My conclusion is whilst Boland can arguably bowl as well as Cummins in the first test, overall Cummins is a massive loss

I know this is a BIG CALL
Pat Cummins is the best FIRST change bowler ive SEEN play for Australia
Lillie, Mcgrath are better bowlers but they were opening bowlers

Yep- well investigated L801, Max almost as good as Pat
And Max Walker was a better Australian Rules footballer and Author than Pat Cummins

Wasn't doubting that, I just think that Boland is an adequate replacement.

Do I really have to go to Perth for work the week of the Test match and get into a corporate box?

If I have to I guess I can, dirty work but someone has to do it.

Inglis still out injured for the ODI's and now replaced by Philippe, obviously want to keep Carey fresh for the test matches

Zampa also out due to family reasons, Kuhnemann his replacement, thought Agar would be a walk up start :D

Unless things go crazy wrong regarding the couple of injury concerns hard to see any other side for the first test than..... only bloke they could possibly consider would be Labuschagne

Khawaja
Renshaw
Smith
Green
Head
Webster
