If you need 'support' do you ask for a wage increase to line up?Booney wrote:Me and my off sider in sales stay and they offered one of the staff a hybrid role that would "support" us in the factory.Brodlach wrote: Are they looking at closing the Adelaide office totally?
Or do we just quietly jump ship and watch from afar?

Inquiries are ongoing and it is anticipated that Task Force Horizon detectives will remain in the area tomorrow, Tuesday 17 February.
An update on the search activities will be provided as they progress.
As a result of a previous search at Oak Park Station, Task Force Horizon detectives have today arrested a 75-year-old from Grampus and charged them with firearm offences. They have been bailed to appear in the Peterborough Magistrates Court on 6 May.
Acting Officer in Charge of Major Crime Investigation Branch Detective Inspector Andrew Macrae said the charges are not related to the disappearance of Gus Lamont nor a previous incident at Oak Park Station in October 2025 involving media attending the property.

Sam Shahin’s just commissioned Wall of Tears artwork, listing all children killed in Gaza since October 2023, defaced, torn down and removed by vandals a day after it was put up in the city.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Where did you get that info from? The State Govt and Lib opposition have both condemned the vandalism, and it has been reported to police who are investigating.Brodlach wrote:Unlawfully put up as it didn’t get the correct approvaldedja wrote:Sam Shahin’s just commissioned Wall of Tears artwork, listing all children killed in Gaza since October 2023, defaced, torn down and removed by vandals a day after it was put up in the city.

I recon both options can be true.
It got installed.
It was vandalised.
It was revealed he didn't have necessary approvals.
He then agreed to remove what was left.

Re: Things that make you sad.
Experiencing my son go through a break up, first real one and it's rocked him a bit. Just so difficult to watch such a happy go lucky, funny, generous and caring person be so down in the dumps.
There is nothing at all that I can do except just be there for him and offer coping mechanisims, separation anxiety is terrible as a young lad, I wasn't great with it but obviously as you get older you just become more resilient.
On a positive note, after the first week he decided to do some research and got himself a "self-help" book, there have been some changes that we don't go into but he has done a big clean out of his room, he has been practicing a lot on the ukelele and has been getting into podcasts of great ex-footballers.
