Re: INS & OUTS 2026
The Central District Football Club is excited to announce the signing of NSW/ACT player Jensen Hargreaves.
Hargreaves, 19, and standing at 180cm, is a product of the GWS Academy and spent the 2025 season playing senior football with Yarrawonga Football Club in the Ovens & Murray League.
Originally from Hay, NSW, Jensen is a talented, hardworking, and exceptionally quick player. He is a highly skilled small forward or midfielder who has also shown versatility running off half-back.
Football Manager Mark Ross had the following to say about the club’s latest signing:
“Jensen has a high work rate, a tremendous burst of speed, and the ability to break the lines with his run and carry. When watching a couple of other players at the U18 Championships for NSW/ACT, it was hard not to notice Jensen and the weapons he brings to a game.”
We warmly welcome Jensen, his partner Ella, and both their families to the Ponderosa.

Re: INS & OUTS 2026
Whilst disappointing I’m not sure how much game time he would have got this year so at Port he will ply every week in the SANFL and perhaps get a chance to play higherBooney wrote:19yo Norwood product Balyn O’Brien has won rookie a contract at Port Adelaide.

Re: INS & OUTS 2026
Out of interest Jim, why do you think he wouldn't get much game time this year? He seemed handy enough in the finals last year (admittedly from the telly) that it was a solid base he would improve on this year.Jim05 wrote:Whilst disappointing I’m not sure how much game time he would have got this year so at Port he will ply every week in the SANFL and perhaps get a chance to play higherBooney wrote:19yo Norwood product Balyn O’Brien has won rookie a contract at Port Adelaide.

I rate him but I think Francis coming in might have left him the next rung down on the pecking order and barring injuries I’m not sure he plays every weekFlyingHigh wrote:Out of interest Jim, why do you think he wouldn't get much game time this year? Has there been a CEO "in" at Westies?

Sounds like a full time job in football might have changed his mind.Booney wrote:Wasn't he playing on Yorkes?
There was talk he would have ended up playing with us at times this season, I believe he has been training at the club
