Check on both fronts, our hosts chose the feed me menu for us all.Rams52 wrote:Been a couple of times.Booney wrote:Sofia's in Hutt St for lunch tomorrow. Anyone been?
Go the ‘Feed Me’ menu if you get a choice.
Each time I have been it has been absolute quality food and service.
Spanish chicken excellent, Taramasalata, salmon roe, chives excellent, Sofia Lager surprisingly refreshing.
Coffee and service top notch.

Re: Restaurant & Pub Reviews
Stayed at Rawnsley Station in The Flinders Ranges from Sunday to Wednesday just this week,
stunning landscape & nice & green still from all the rain.
Situated on 12,000 hectares of prime sheep grazing land,
went to dinner at The Woolshed, situated on the station in the shadows of Rawnsley Bluff,
can you believe they had no lamb chops on the menu.
Apart from that, the lamb shanks were superb.

Re: Restaurant & Pub Reviews
Khims Thai restaurant in Prospect.
Old husband and wife team, he cooks, she serves and liaises with the customers.
I've never not walked out dis-satisfied.
Last night we had the spring rolls and beef satay as entrees followed by stir fried chicken with lemongrass, onion, capsicum with coconut milk and stir fried beef with seasoned vegetables, got a serviing of fried rice with it too. They don't skimp on their servings and are probably 70% meat.
Left full as can be with 3 jam packed take-away containers.
There was a bloke who would've been well into his 70's dining alone with a bottle of red so we went over and had a chat with him once we had finished, he was pretty stoked to be able to flap the gums for a while.

Phwoar. I'm just about barring up reading that. Not skimping on the meat is a massive plus too. Might have to put it on the list.Lightning McQueen wrote:Last night we had the spring rolls and beef satay as entrees followed by stir fried chicken with lemongrass, onion, capsicum with coconut milk and stir fried beef with seasoned vegetables, got a serviing of fried rice with it too. Mind you I'm going to America for six weeks this winter. Apparently it is quite difficult to eat healthily there so I'm trying to get the cholesterol as low a possible before I get on the plane.

No more than $25 a dish too, they don't have a qwebsite but you can find photos of their food via Yelp etc.RB wrote:Phwoar. I'm just about barring up reading that. Enjoy the USA mate, I've never been, probably won't get the chance before I'm pushing up daisies, I'd love to have a white Christmas is New York though.
