Possibly the difference between the two sides?????

You guys rolled our C grade , which was undermanned at the time and should have put us away with an outright win , but where clearly outplayed on the second day losing 7 / 40 and then couldnt get a wicket in our second dig until the game was called off , I just find it hard for you to say that jeff vaughan was possibly the difference between the two sides when you are a C1 team.[/quote]

azza i am talking about T20 here which is a great leveler between two teams. having only played a few games this season and watched a few i think the boys were competitive against an A2 side. knowing that they are still aware that they have proved nothing against your C grade since it was much weaker than normal. one big innings in a T20 is generally the difference between the two teams as i said.

Game on then. AUCC v Goody 2 next round and we're made up almost exclusively of LOA players. Do you know which ground it will be at?

I think it is played at Goodwood Oval. It will be an interesting match up, the Goody 2 team is only pretty average, but the other teams havent been very flash, i dont think Goody 2 can go much further really. It isnt bad fun though.

Are players in A1, A2 and A3 less human than everyone else? Absolutely baffles the mind. If it's too hot for some, it should be to hot for all

I think they are following what the SACA do. The decision is to be made today after they get the 4pm Weather forecast from the Bureau.

Given that they have called off all junior and lower grades i pose this question.
An A1, 2 or 3 side has 4 players that still are eligible for under 17 junior cricket "which has been cancelled"...
What do they do to protect those kids tomorrow.?

One policy says say can't play and one say's they can...

Up until last season the heat policy was 40 and over and all grades were called off. From what I've been told a number of A1-A3 clubs were not happy with this rule hence why we now have the new policy in place.

A1-A3 do play an extra half hour under the heat policy.

That is crap. That was never the case. I remember 5 years ago playing on Valentines Day in 43 degree heat. A1 - A3 has never been called off since I have been playing (8 years) for heat.

There was a heat policy brought in 3 seasons ago where all grades were called off if the forecast was 40 or over. It changed this season.

You are partly correct. A1 still played but all other grades were called off. That I'm 100% sure of.
