Going to be an interesting year with, IMO, about 6 sides with strong chances, but it is still very early

Re: SAAFL Div 2 & 2R (2010)
yeah it'll be hard not to look at the 2 sides that have come down, considering they were both unlucky to do so given the amount of games they won.
if they both maintain what they had, which from what i've heard, they will, i reckon i'll go with one of those 2. slightly picking modbury ahead of ROCS though.

Agree, both will be excellent Div 2 sides. From last year, I thought ROC's slightly better than Modbury (But saying that we did lose to Modbury). Roc's have a young fast side that will improve greatly with an extra year under their belts

Looks to be a great Div 2 comp this year, with very few feral sides and not too many waterbag trips for most clubs..... ROCS and Modbury to go back up, Adelaide Uni, PHOS and Eastern Park rounding out the top five.... SPOC and the Yo-Yo's (Walkerville) to go back down....

heard a rumor Beinke will be at the deadlegs next year as an ass coach and therefore not at SPOC, as well as a few of there younger lads heading o/s. hopefully they stay up though so the reds can have a crack at them in 2011 haha!

Re: SAAFL Div 2 & 2R (2010)
looking forward to the spoc v uni games
be interesting though with all the wide players out there - who'll actually get the ball? may be a nil all draw.

sorry, forgot smiley thing. as a uni coach/player i'd thought i'd get in early with the soft sledge.
nick kurzel was pretty good - was ironic that he won the f a (chocka) bloch medal.

How many of the SPOC boys who currently play at the blacks are looking at defecting back to SPOC?? surely SPOC are putting big pressure on the lewis' and the like.

i'd assume so but they've placed some pressure on folk before - the payment saga at spoc put off a few.
james also played at uni then spoc then back to uni.
the spoc c graden v uni game should also be a belter given the amount of old saints guys playing in the lower grades at uni.
