As I no longer watch (or have anything to do with WWTFC) I am interested in the following comparison:

I always believed that Goldsworthy was a similar type to Stokes - small forward, good pace, good disposal & being a left footer (which appears desirable to AFL recruiters) - I wondered why he was overlooked in any Drafts.

Although (at his best) not as old as McGregor;
1. Did you rate Goldy - in terms of AFL Rookie List @ least?
2. Compared with McGreggor, which is/was the better player between the two?

Finally at least someone who actually asks for some decent feedback. I was at the Sturt game and I was extremely impressed by Goldsworthy very silky skills, again probably a bit small for AFL footy. without doubt Goldsworthy is a better footballer than McGregor, I find it interesting people are saying the conditions were poor and that's why Loccy had a bad game, now I'm sorry if your small you have to dominate those games. If you look at modern football all guns midfielders are over 6 foot. Ultimately both those players are two short and probably don't have the leg speed. But if I had to pick, Goldsworthy is the better player and a better chance to get picked up.

I was actually thinking 'Draft' back a few years - around the 2011 Flag year, even 2012, for Goldy.
Is Stokes any bigger than him?
Perhaps now, but not when he was drafted by Geelong I would've thought.
Interesting comparison 8)

Sorry, was a joke directed at your split personality, you know, the thread's 9 pages long, South vs Eagles, must be that LEH and LPH are going at it....
Boom-tish.
I thought there'd be at least someone else out there that'd find it funny.
Anyway, play on.

No split mate... 'E' has been long gone since Kurt's treachery :(
FWIW, the 'P' is no more too - might need to go to LH, perhaps ;)

Well we appear to be back to being rubbish again.

Didnt want to leave club rooms at half time cause you could tell eagles had the win easy.

Get the feelin most South fans know we are headin nowhere this season. Struggle to kick goals....
