The Cairns Taipans have announced the signing of Kiwi guard and former 36er Mojave King as an injury replacement player due to a season ending wrist injury to Alex Higgins-Titsha. This will be King's second stint with the Taipans after starting his NBL career there as a Next Star signing and he played for the NZ Breakers last season.

The Illawarra Hawks have announced the signing of import Q.J. Peterson to a one-year deal. He's a 6'0" PG who played in China last season.

Adelaide are getting by however they need another quality import. Staggering they are where they are on the table with one decent import.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

I wouldn’t be shocked if they released Rakosevic at some stage also. Does make you wonder why they still are waiting to sign now.

He is cheap and good bench depth, I wouldn’t be letting him go.

I don't think Rakocevic will be released import bigs can make a lot more elsewhere so think we'll hold on to him.

On the the vacant third import spot the team is going well at 7-2 so no rush and the longer you wait better players can shake free plus the financial savings too.
