not sure of the score. But I reckon it would’ve been like 20 goals to 5

Iggies with a good pick up in Daniel Girdham from imperials. Just walked in off the street asking for $0. Can seriously play if commits to a full year due to his business commitments.

He must really like the club culture if he just happened to be walking by and pop in for a kick and a can of coke. Seriously though. If you're that good and it's Div 2. Fair chance he'll be on some sort of payment.

Didnt want any money as he's not sure what his commitment will be with work and actually is happy to play for free. Outrageous that that a good player will play these days for free when people with half his ability are running around in div 6 or 7 getting 100's a game.

Yeah I totally agree with ya and it still amazes me how much money clubs are willing to pay for players in Div 7.

Awful unpleasant day it was too.

SN looked alot closer to the SN of 2016 that pushed deep into the finals than the SN of 2017. Given how many they win at home my early tip is that the elusive senior premiership will land at the nest.

Weather. Hot blustery breeze blowing at a 45 degree angle across the oval.

The game itself was played in very good spirits.

Heard Brighton have lost 6 or so A graders from last year to retirement. But, still a massive loss in their first game of Div 2

I went a watched Iggies v SPOC yesterday
Going to need a lot of 190cm defenders when you play SPOC
They have some serious firepower with Shooter still to come in
