Re: AFL Finals Week 2
Brilliant umpiring by Rosey and Hosko. Dumb footy by Port you can’t put the mayo on tackles and risk slinging players and have their head hit the ground first
Player protection and safety is paramount

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Re: AFL Finals Week 2
Usual shit umpiring.
Easily the worst professional sports league for umpiring.
Terrible bilateral positioning with abysmal line of sight vision and shocking use of the mouth closed with a slight head shake. Don’t start me on their whistle to mouth performance. Affects both the pitch and volume of the blow.Anyone else notice the socks are not pulled up to the same height on three of them.

Re: AFL Finals Week 2
Absolutely you can’t sling players and have their head hit the ground
For it to be HTB it has to be a legal tackle and Jones and Burgoyne both executed illegal tackles when the used two motions to sling both Hawks into the ground.
The AFL are actively trying to protect tve head so the umpires are instructed to err on the side of player safety when it comes to head knocks with either the ground or the players.

Re: AFL Finals Week 2
This should be a cracker last quarter.
I'm hoping an umpire doesn't impose himself late and effect the result.
I thought last weekend the umpiring was great.
Tonight not so much.
